Industrial Home for Blind Women

The Industrial Home for Blind Women is a vocational school which houses abused, abandoned, and underprivileged blind girls & women, located in a small suburb in Mumbai, India. Along with providing proper shelter, food, clothing, and other necessities, they teach the women various skills which they can eventually use to generate a source of income for themselves and become independent. Some of these skills include sewing, cooking, cosmetology, etc. Currently, 10% of all PinkDish sales are donated to this organization.
